Piano Duo

Pianists Ina Krajnc (2000) and Klara Lužnik (2001) met in 2016 at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Maribor, where they both successfully completed their secondary musical education. Since 2020, they have continued their studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, graduating in June 2024, Ina under the guidance of Prof. Till Fellner and Klara Prof. Zuzana Niederdorfer. They have been performing as a piano duo since 2021, studying in the piano duo class of Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg. In October 2024, they began their master’s studies in piano duo under the same mentors.

In March 2023, they were awarded the Absolute First Prize at the TEMSIG Competition, as well as a Special Prize for their interpretation of Scriabin’s Fantasy for Two Pianos. In November 2024, they won First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, followed by a victory in December at the Martha Debelli Scholarship Competition at their university. In October 2025, they successfully passed the audition for the Piano-Piano Academy 2025/2026 in Paris, which offers advanced training for piano duos with internationally renowned pianists and pedagogues. In the same month, they gave a recital in Verona, Italy. In November 2025, they won First Prize ex aequo at the 11th International Competition Premio Internazionale Giangrandi-Eggman in Sardinia, Italy.

In March 2026, they were among the 6 finalists at the Ilmari Hannikainen Piano Chamber Music Competition, where they performed F. Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos in D minor with Jyväskylä Sinfonia and were named one of the competition’s laureates, receiving 3rd prize.
