Cassia Drake has won top prizes in competitions throughout the world, such as National YoungArts Foundation, Berlin Philharmonie Competition, and Debut International Music Competition. As soloist, she has appeared with the Artis-Naples Philharmonic, Sarasota Music Festival Orchestra, Colburn Orchestra, and the Bravo Summer Music Festival, among others.

An avid chamber musician, Ms. Drake has toured throughout North America, the Middle East, and Europe playing recitals, chamber music, and masterclasses. She has collaborated with members of the Tokyo, Calidore, Aviv, and New Orford String Quartet, as well as Antonio Lysy, Shmuel Ashkenazi, and Timothy Eddy. Ms. Drake has also performed in chamber festivals such as the Mainly Mozart Chamber Festival, Ojai New Music Festival, and the CHO Chamber Music Series. Ms. Drake is a current member of the Alameda String Quartet and the Kontrapunktus Baroque Ensemble.

Ms. Drake maintains an active teaching studio giving lessons to underprivileged elementary students and has been involved in the inaugural year of Stories & Strings, a program dedicated to bringing music to young children in low income schools in downtown Los Angeles. During the summer, she has participated in festivals and institutes such as Accademia Isola Classica, Keshet Eilon, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Toronto Summer Music Festival, and Heifetz Ashkenazi/Kirshbaum Chamber Music Institute, among others.

Cassia Drake is pursuing a Masters of Musical Arts degree at the Yale School of Music, studying with Ettore Causa. Previously, she studied at the Colburn Conservatory where she received her Bachelor and Masters degrees under the tutelage of Paul Coletti and Yura Lee.
