The Grand Closing Gala

Biella, Palazzo La Marmora (14th September 2025, 18:30)

A spectacular finale in grand style concludes the third edition of the Oropa Music Festival: a Closing Gala that promises to be a real journey through the rhythms of the world, among music, dance, flavors and conviviality. The setting for the event is the historic elegance of Palazzo La Marmora, in the heart of Biella’s Piazzo: a place full of charm and memory, where music meets the art of hospitality and the excellence of the territory.

Protagonist of the evening is artistic director and concert pianist Federico Gad Crema, who returns to the stage flanked by an extraordinary cast of young international performers: Bulgarian violinist Lora Markova, the Italian talent of Pietro Genova Gaia on violin, Portuguese violist Miguel Erlich, Luca Buratto on piano and cellists Francesco Tamburini and Felix Rosenboom. Together they bring to life an enthralling performance designed to engage, surprise and celebrate.

Alongside the music, a culinary journey that enhances local excellence in an unprecedented symphony of flavors: the signature finger food by Pasticceria De Mori, curated by head pastry chef Carlo Landone, will bring to the table sweet and savory creations designed to accompany each musical moment, playing on refined and daring combinations.

To complete the experience, a selected tasting of the best local craft beers, in collaboration with Bolle di Malto, will offer a taste panorama capable of enhancing the most contemporary, authentic and creative soul of the Biella area.

This Closing Gala is not just a concert: it is a celebration, an explosion of energy, an ode to sharing and wonder. It is a moment when audiences, artists and the flavors of the land come together to celebrate the beauty of art, music and life.

The program, in the form of a one-man-show around the figure of pianist and artistic director Federico Gad Crema, is constructed as a mosaic of dances and suggestions that cross eras and geographies: from the sweeping Hungarian Dances of Johannes Brahms, where Central European folklore is translated into virtuosity and passion, to Astor Piazzolla’s explosive Gran Tango, a manifesto of Argentine sensuality and contemporary reinvention of the tango. And again, the rhythmic fire of Spain with Manuel de Falla and other Iberian composers, in a tribute to the colors of the South and its fiery melodies.

A great show of dances from all over the world, in which music becomes body and gesture, accompanied by unexpected moments, improvisations, original arrangements and surprises that will make the evening a once-in-a-lifetime event, balanced between classical rigor and festive spirit.
