A multisensory experience that merges great music, visual art, and the finest gastronomy to seal the fourth edition of the Festival. The Grand Closing Gala offers the audience an exclusive tasting journey curated by Mosca1916 and Alpes D’Oc Morinesio, enriched by the preview of the exhibition “PIETRA. Il tempo scolpito” by Arte Attiva, in collaboration with Fondazione Sella. The protagonist of the stage is the brilliant Duo Inara—featuring pianists Ina Krajnc and Klara Lužnik—ready to guide listeners through the infinite nuances of the piano four hands.
The musical narrative unfolds from the romantic restlessness of Franz Schubert with his Allegro in A minor D 947, famously known as “Lebensstürme” (Storms of Life). The score is a fresco of formidable psychological intensity, where the two performers must master a dense and tormented writing, alternating sudden dramatic explosions with intimate oases of poignant lyricism.
Dissolving the Schubertian shadows is the pure sonic magic of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, with a selection from A Midsummer Night’s Dream op. 61. In this captivating piano version, the keyboard transforms into a miniature orchestra, evoking with virtuosity and intangible lightness the flight of fairies, forest spells, and brilliant wedding festivities. A masterpiece of grace and formal balance, bringing the festival to a close in an atmosphere of joyous and dazzling light.
